Dione manages business development activities and serves as a project manager in planning and public involvement areas, as well as serving as Quality Control Manager for Chickenango. Dione ensures the implementation of robust stakeholder engagement plans through tailored outreach plans for communities that Chickenango facilitates. Dione’s responsibilities include ensuring that public involvement activities are executed efficiently and effectively. This includes oversight and compliance with project specifications by regularly assessing the project activities and outputs to meet the established quality criteria and collaborating with project teams to meet all deadlines.

In previous background, Dione has over three decades of experience at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), where she developed extensive expertise in transportation planning, funding, program management, and project delivery. Her commitment to understanding and serving the unique needs of traveling public and state and local clients, providing effective solutions, and fostering strong relationships aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver exceptional client service.  

 

Fun Fact: Dione is an avid gardener and bird enthusiast living in the Texas Hill Country. Dione loves all things Texas, sharing Texas traditions and road trip recommendations. Dione has dual citizenship in Ireland.
